  • Eeeeh

Got this email today from the lady that is supposed to make my life easier by helping arrange things for me:

    Hello Mr. chon

Please answer a couple of questions regarding the form you completed.

When you where in Benin was this business or pleasure travel, and how did you travel there?

Where you sick at anytime while you where there or after you return?

Also you’ve indicated that you were in Cotonou, is this a city in Benin, and is this only city that you traveled in Benin?

Note: Please respond to the same questions as above.

The two weeks that you were in the UK was this to South Korea and Singapore?

    --------------------------------

The first set of questions I could understand. The last question I was both sad and couldn't stop myself from laughing.

Is that bad of me? She's been really difficult to work with, which makes me more sad than anything else.

    *sigh*

I also really hate how xanga formats these posts... I dislike the weird double spacing between lines. ugh.

  • The Question

    Melissa asked me tonight:

"Would you go to the Peace Corps again if you had the chance?"

"Yeah, but I'd do Peace Corps response, I couldn't deal with the ridiculousness that goes on in the normal Peace Corps for two years."

"Yeah, that's true. You want to do it together?"

less than 3 seconds before I can respond:

Melissa, "No wait, what am I talking about. I don't ever want to do Peace Corps again. You can go by yourself."

  • Google, You Are Pretty Awesome...

I was sitting on my chair typing away at my brother's macbook, looking for potential apartments online and just browsing the internet, when I hear a loud *thud* outside and someone simultaneously knocking and pressing our doorbell. My mom rushes to the door and yells, "thank you!" to the delivery person. She comes in with a box and asks me if I ordered anything in the mail. Granted, I have been buying a lot of random stuff online these days I tell her that, 'No, I have nothing coming in for at least another 24 hours.' With that said I gave a glance to my dad and then my mom and asked if I should open it.

Once I got into the big box and flipped over the smaller box within, I knew what I had just received. I remember seeing the same packaging on this website:

    http://www.engadget.com/2010/12/09/google-cr-48-chrome-laptop-preview/

So, apparently Google thought me fit to try out their beta version of Chrome OS! Pretty random. Especially seeing how I just signed up on their website and filled out a form. It didn't come with any instructions regarding what they want me to do regarding feedback or when/if they want this computer back. Oh well, I'm not complaining. This is awesome!

  • Happy Turkey Day

Tried making a turducken today. It worked out pretty well. I actually didn't get a chance to eat any chicken and very little duck, but at least all the family got to try a piece! I do enjoy cooking for large groups. Somehow it always turns out pretty good.

Hope all of you who weren't able to spend this holiday with friends/family will have the opportunity around the christmas/winter holiday season!

Enjoy the evening and good luck for those going to black friday sales. It is freezing in the L.A. area!

  • Toy Story 3

I wasn't too sure what to expect from a movie like Toy Story 3, since it was the second sequel to a sorta (seemingly) botched script, but man. It was good.

There was no need for character development as most of the main characters were brought back from the two previous Toy Stories and the new ones they brought in were great. I especially enjoyed Ken.

This is why I love Pixar!
